Frequently Asked Questions

Is real money involved?

No, stokd uses virtual currency only. You also aren't able to purchase the virtual stocks.

How are artists chosen?

The dataset is originally based off two hundred of the most popular artists on Spotify. As the project grows, we will add more artists. We only allow artists that mantain a spotify following as it's easier to get data about them. Users are able to add up to five new artists on their own.

Is there a paid subscription?

Soon there will be! You'll have access to more features and no ads. It'll also be a way to support the project as it's a one-man team for now.
