Terms of Service

Stokd (stokdapp.com, the “Service”) is an informational service — a listing of local events. The Service aggregates and publishes event announcements added by users and organizers.

The Service is not an event organizer, does not sell tickets, does not provide event production services, and is not a party to any transactions between visitors and organizers.

By using the Service (including browsing, signing up, or submitting events) you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You sign up with an email address or a Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to your email and account secure, and for actions taken under your account.

You can request account deletion at any time by writing to hello@stokdapp.com.

By publishing an event, cover image, review, or other content, you warrant that you hold the rights to the materials and that the information is accurate.

You grant the Service a non-exclusive right to display your published content as part of the Service (event pages, collections, social previews).

All submissions are moderated. The Service may reject or remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable law — normally with a stated reason.

The Service is a themed listing (extreme sports, street culture, and related areas) and may decline to publish an event submitted by any user, including organizers, if the event does not match the Service's theme or editorial policy. Such refusal requires no justification and cannot serve as grounds for any claims against the Service.

Reviews and ratings reflect the personal opinion of the users who left them. To keep ratings trustworthy, the Service does not remove or edit reviews at the request of organizers or other interested parties. The exception is reviews that violate the law or these Terms (insults, spam, knowingly false statements): such reviews may be removed by the administration.

The Service is an informational listing only. Event information is provided by organizers and users and is published “as is”. The Service does not verify or guarantee that events will take place, nor their content, pricing, or participation terms.

The Service is not liable for cancellations, rescheduling, or changes to events, their program, price, or venue. For any participation questions, contact the event organizer.

Listed events may involve extreme sports and action activities (BMX, skateboarding, snowboarding, and others) that carry an elevated risk of injury. Participation in any event is voluntary and at the participant's own risk. The Service does not organize or supervise events and bears no responsibility for accidents or harm to life, health, or property occurring before, during, or after events. Safety is the responsibility of event organizers and participants themselves. Assess your skill level honestly and use protective gear.

Links to external resources (organizer websites, registration pages) lead to third-party platforms whose content and operation are outside the Service's responsibility.

You may not: publish knowingly false events or information; infringe third-party rights (including copyright); send spam; use automated tools for mass data collection; or attempt to disrupt the Service or bypass its protective mechanisms.

Creating or using multiple accounts (multi-accounting) to inflate reviews, ratings, or reactions, or to otherwise distort event ratings, is prohibited. Upon detecting such activity, the Service may block all related accounts, including those identified by technical attributes (IP address and other data), without prior warning.

Supporting the project is a voluntary donation processed by the third-party service Boosty under its own terms. The “Supporter” status and related perks are a token of gratitude, not a product or service, and may change over time.

We may update these Terms. The current version is always published on this page with its update date. By continuing to use the Service after changes, you accept the new version.
